College ka recognition ya affiliation sirf paperwork nahi; ye decide karta hai ki aapka degree legally valid hoga ya nahi. Agar institute proper university, board, professional council (jaise medical, legal, technical councils) se approved nahi, to pass hone ke baad bhi student ko job, licence, further studies me barrier mil sakte hain.
Recognition ka matlab hai ki competent authority ne infrastructure, faculty, syllabus, facilities ko minimum standard ke hisaab se check kiya. Affiliation means that college officially linked hai ek university se, jo exams conduct karegi, degree issue karegi.
Fake ya poor-quality institutes kabhi-kabhi marketing me “approval under process”, “collaboration with foreign body” jaise vague lines use karte hain. Students ko joining se pehle website, notification, official list cross-check karna chahiye.
Agar baad me pata chale ki recognition doubtful hai, to students collective complaint + regulatory body + courts ke through relief seek kar sakte hain – jaise exam re-conduct, admission migration, compensation etc., but process tedious ho sakta hai.
Admission se pehle 1 ghanta research baad ke 5–10 saal ka career protect kar sakta hai.
